This sweet Pinot Gris distinguishes itself from other syrupy wines by the special technique used: extraction by freezing. This very gentle method confers pleasant acidity and notes of grapefruit or peach to L’ACCOLADE. Apart from foie gras and desserts, this wine is perfect with excellent chocolate!
Grape variety : Pinot gris
Special feature : Sweet wine resulting from a freezing extraction.
Character : Intense aromas of green apple (Granny Smith) and fresh fruit, peach and grapefruit. An excellent balance between sweetness and acidity.
Recommended : Foie gras, dessert wine, excellent pairing with chocolate.
