Gamay is the second most important varietal after Chasselas in the Lake Geneva Region. It develops fresh fragrances of forest fruit with a spicy note.

Special feature : It is ideal for drinking as a summer wine. This variety is second only to Chasselas and before Pinot Noir in the canton of Vaud.
Character : Aroma of blackcurrant and forest fruits, pleasantly spicy, nice fruit in the mouth, fresh on the palate, moderately tannic.
Recommended : Dish with bread and cheese, starters, meat and vegetables, grilled fish, cheese.
Temperature : 14 to 18°C
