Red grapes for a white wine? Possible and very tasty! Impress your guests with BLANC DE NOIR. Our trademark: we use Gamay grapes – whose juice is white – and quickly remove their skins to prevent them from colouring the wine. A short passage in a barrel confers the final touch to this nectar.
Grape variety : Gamay and Pinot Noir
Special feature : Made from a red grape variety vinified as a white. This wine is vinified as a white wine and the maturing is done in vats, with a short passage in barrels. Put in bottles in spring to keep its fruity character.
Character : Less carbonic than a Chasselas. This wine gives a nose of berries of the woods, in mouth a rich structure and a light acidity adds a beautiful freshness to it. Roasted note at the end.
Recommended : Aperitif, antipasti, appertizer, fish from the lake or the sea, white meat.
Temperature : 10 to 12°C
Custody : 1-3 years
